At Simpleview (2014-2018), I was tasked to imagine and design a full Content Management System for the companies list of over 600 Destination clients. The CMS would replace a much older system with both new and intuitive interfaces as well as forward technology. The purpose of the project was to make the CMS friendlier for clients and require less Dev requests to product Destination content on the many client sites. For this project, I would be responsible for wire framing, designing, prototyping, testing and documentation. I worked across several internal teams and with an external user group specifically assembled for usability studies.
One of the best aspect of my work at Simpleview is that it was driven by a dedicated User Group of our customers. The product was specific to a narrow industry so our user group gathered from over 600 destinations was an amazing resource for me for usability studies and feature priorities. One of my favorite projects was maintaining the "Simpleville" site which was a faux destination dedicated to the purpose of testing our user group members in a live instance of our CMS product.
